Our Story

 We began our journey in the year 2019, when we first fell in love with the land and decided to leave subdivision living for the country life. Our home is situated on 15 acres in the northern va area so its nice after working full time in the city to come home to such a peaceful setting with amazing animals.

Since moving to our farm, we’ve been busy building our Nigerian Dwarf Goat and KuneKune Pig herds with top notch stock from across the United States to breed and produce top notch animals .

 

We began with a few Nigerian Dwarf goats as a way to break into breeding goats and have learned so much along the way. We now have 15+ does and bucks that have amazing pedigrees from some of the top breeders in the US.

In 2020 we decided to get a few KuneKune pigs just for fun and our love for the bred has blossomed and we have an amazing mentor/friend that has guided us.  We purchased an amazing herd of 18 pigs of various lineage, and we are excited and honored to continue the preservation of the breed. We currently have 12 sow bloodlines and 7 boar bloodlines on our farm. We do this for the love of the breeds and helping others grow and learn as we have.   

Recently our own Jeremiah Smith has been selected to serve on the AKKPS board of directors for 2022 & 2023.
