KuneKune Color - Gold Tip

KuneKunes come in an array of colors. The dominant color comes first, followed by the secondary color. Each week we will be picking a color to post about with it's description and picture examples.

The AKKPS recognized colors are: Cream, Ginger, Black, Brown, Ginger/Black, Black/Ginger, Tri, Black/White, White/Black, Brown/White, White/Brown, Ginger/Brown, Brown/Ginger, and Gold Tip.

Today's featured color is gold tip. Per the BKKPS, the color has a base color of black or brown with gold tips to the end of the hair shaft. Gold tip is a recognized color but there are very few in the US. Breeder certification is required and the pig must be 18 months old.
